Welcome to the United World Sports Academy based in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
Just south of Auckland (30-minute flight or 150-minutes by car) Tauranga is a paradise with endless opportunities for fun, culture, agriculture, sports and outdoor activities such as marine adventures, sailing, fishing or dolphin watching to glow worm kayak tours. The coastal community is a stunning place to live or visit.
“Kia Ora” means “hello”, but literally translates to “wish life and health”. The traditional Māori greeting (or Hongi) involves pressing one's nose and forehead to another person, sharing the breath of life. This is considered to have come directly from the gods.
